Chandrasekhar’s singing talent.
For the trained carnatic singer she
is, she has rendered her sugary voice
to numerous hit songs – particularly
for her son Vijay’s movies.
Few hits in the recent past and to
be precise, the recent hit from Sivakasi
‘Kodambakkam Area’ substantiate
her singing prowess. To top that,
she has even released ‘Anaimughanum
Arumughanum’ – a devotional
album.
In
line with the same, she has recently sung
for Nenjirukkum Varai, which is directed
by S.A. Chandrasekhar. The song, which she
has sung for the movie, is catching up among
the public and most importantly has grabbed
the attention of Sangeetha, Shobha’s
daughter-in-law.
Sangeetha has reportedly heard the song
numerous times and seems could not get the
song out of her head. She went on to shower
praises for the song and her mother-in-law’s
voice which was the highlight. Well is there
any award more coveted than the ones that
come from within the family? We assume no.
