Director S.P. Jananathan had a story
ready for Kamal Haasan, but unfortunately
he could not be signed up for the role
and it has promptly landed on “Jeyam”
Ravi’s lap. To make matters more
interesting he will have five heroines.
The yet-to-be named movie will be produced
by Ayngaran Films International.
Jananathan is known for his selection of excellent
locations in his movies - in Iyarkai the port and
the light house and in E he had brought out the
essence of the slum. So it would be interesting
to know what his plans are for this movie. When
the director was quizzed into this issue, he said
that he intends to shoot in thick forests with heavy
downpour. Cameraman N.K. Ekambaram and Jananathan
are now on the lookout for such a spot. Meanwhile,
the director is on the move choosing the five heroines.
