Actress Sandhya had a tough time on
the sets of Manjal Veyil. The shooting
for this movie was progressing well
at the Sagaria Gardens near Mayajaal,
Chennai. It all started when the actress
went into a room for a dress change.
Sandhya along with Tharika had gone
into a room when all of a sudden the
door locked by itself.
Being an automatic locking system the two could
not open it. When the film crew wanted to break-in
the garden manager refused to permit it. The actresses
were stranded in the room for nearly four hours
as the garden owner had to send the duplicate key
from the other end of the city. Later on the Sandhya
put up a brave front stating that the whole affair
did not scare her.
