Vijayalakshmi
who hit the headlines after her failed
suicide attempts yesterday – read
our earlier news about her attempt –
is in trouble again as the police proceeds
with the case in different perspectives.
Investigation has commenced and the police
are in full action to trace down the alleged
director Ramesh who has reportedly flown
to Bangalore, where he hails from, for
shelter.

|
Meanwhile,
investigations are underway with Vijayalakshmi
as well and it is highly likely that
Vijayalakshmi will also be arrested
for her suicide attempt. Attempting
suicide is unlawful and attracts legal
action.
The number of pills Vijayalakshmi
consumed is under probe and police
reveal that her statements on this
are inconsistent. She is changing
stands regarding the number of pills
she consumed. Earlier she stated that
she had consumed 20 pills, for which
the doctors revealed that she would
not be alive had she consumed 20 pills.

|
|
The
doctors hinted that she would have consumed
only close to 10 pills. Upon further questioning,
she stated that she had take only 15 pills
and she did not remember the number exactly,
which has stirred suspicion among the
police officials.

Since
Vijayalakshmi has complained of sexual
harassment from Ramesh, the police
has requested doctors treating her
for a virginity test to be conducted
on her as is done in cases involving
sexual harassment. Reports state that
Vijayalakshmi has not expressed her
consent for the test and is refusing
to do so.
As an interesting twist in the events,
Vijayalakshmi’s sister visited
the office of the Commissioner of
Police yesterday with a statement
addressed to the Commissioner by Vijayalakshmi.

Vijayalakshmi
has clarified that the prevailing issue
is between Ramesh and her and the company
Radan TV or its employees have no involvement
in this issue. She further has slammed
the reports doing rounds involving Radan
TV in this issue.
Vijayalakshmi had appeared only in a few
flicks in Tamil. But she seemed to be
popular in Kannada movies. She is also
successful with sitcoms in Telugu and
Kannada and the Kannada version of the
popular Tamil game show Thangavettai is
hosted by her, which is eventually produced
by Radan TV.
Police feel that the arrest of Ramesh
is inevitable for this case since Ramesh
is expected to confide on matters relating
to her suicide, clarifying his stands.
Meanwhile, Ramesh has appealed for an
anticipatory bail fearing his arrest.
Stay tuned for the turn of events in this
episode. We keep updating you on that.
