Though
Kamal claims himself to be a rationalist,
one cannot stop wondering the exact time
in which VV took off. Yes…VV seems
to be in trouble once again. This time Kamal
plays the spoilt sport, of course he has
legitimate reasons. |
|
|
As
per the latest industry sources, when
the movie is ready to hit the theatres
tomorrow, there is a fresh problem
that is brewing up. This time, Kamal
Hassan himself has requested the authorities
to stop the release of the movie.
Surprised, please read on…
Producer
seventh channel Narayanan has issued
an undated cheque in favour of Kamal
for Rs 75 lakhs during the dubbing
for the film. This is a part of Kamal’s
remuneration. Narayanan was said to
have given the cheque to Kamal requesting
him to cash the same 2 days before
the release of the movie.
|
|
|
But
when Kamal presented the cheque in
his bank as per Narayanan’s
instructions, the cheque was returned
due to insufficient funds much to
the shock and dismay of Kamal. He
immediately reported this incident
to Nadigar Sangam who in turn has
issued a letter to the labs to hold
the release of the film.
Since Kamal himself has approached
the Nadigar Sangam before going to
the court, the matter appeared be
of serious in nature. This situation
arises at a time when the advance
booking of the film is in full swing
in all the theatres and the film has
done wonderful business in the opening
week itself. |
|
|
|
When
Nadigar Sangam was contacted, they revealed
to us that this matter is likely to be settled
and there is a possibility that VV would
hit the screens as planned. Let us hope
that the parties involved come to settlement
soon and bring cheer to Kamal fans. |
