Who
is Thimuru’s real director? |

Thimiru,
after an absolute rocker of an opening
has slowed down a bit. No, it is
not a flop, just that it has not
been able to sustain the initial
hype around it. The money however
seems to be coming in nice and easy.
Whenever a movie does well, the
money goes to the producer, the
credit to the director and the glory
to the hero. In the case of Thimiru,
it is not clear whether the credit
is going to the right person. Confused,
read on.
After giving two hits in a row,
Vishal accepted Thimiru only because
debutant Tarun Gopi had narrated
the story in an excellent fashion.

Vishal
had expected a lot from the director
in terms of performance. But things
turned out to be quite on the contrary.
Tarun Gopi fell well short of expectations
on location. He seemed to be short
of ideas.
A frustrated Vishal decided to take
things into his own hands to save
the movie and his career. He put
into use his earlier experience
as an assistant director and helmed
the project. He has worked under
director actor Arjun in a few projects
including Vedham. He put all this
experience into Thimiru.

The
result, as we all know has not been that
bad, the movie is finding acceptance with
the audience.
So Vishal has proved himself as a complete
man for films, or can we confirm, the news
is just a speculation that is doing rounds
in Kollywood. Tarun Gopi has meanwhile moved
on to his next work. We will have to wait
for this movie to come out to determine
whether he really is inadequate in directorial
skills. However we can look forward to the
rise of talent like Kamal (too early to
say) or Bhagyaraj in Vishal . Wait and watch.
