Naren seems to be going great guns these days.
In his next venture Pallikoodam, directed
by Thangar Bachchan and produced by Vishwas
Sundar, he plays a District Collector.
If the name Naren does not ring a bell in
your memory then recollect the Vaala Meenu
song from Chitthiram Pesudhadi.

Now you will remember the young man who starred in the
movie as a henchman of a city goon. The movie had been
big hit going by its star value and budget. In his very
next film he was roped in by S.A.Chandrasekhar. Nenjirukkum
Varai, though a different subject did not do well at the
box office. Here too Naren had played a tough character.
In spite of the film’s failure he did get noticed
and very soon he got a call from Thangar Bachchan, thus
he became part of Pallikoodam.
With Chithiram Pesudhadi and Nenjirukkumvarai projecting
him as an action hero, Pallikoodam may be the right opportunity
to cast-off that image. According to the actor, he has
not done any homework for this role and has acted as per
the instructions of Thangar Bachchan. The actor says that
he expects to play different roles and so far a few of
his dreams have come true.
Also note that this young actor’s career is hitting
the right notes in the Malayalam film industry where his
latest release Panthayakkozhi has been getting a pretty
good response.
