Jyothirmayi started her career in TV serials
and later moved on to Malayalam movies. What
more, she has also won a Kerala state award
for her performance in the Malayalam movie
Bhavam. Her debut in Kollywood was with Idhaya
Thirudan. Having starred in Thalainagaram
and Naan Avanillai, she is also playing a
significant role in the movie Periyar.

What is striking about this lady is that, unlike other
heroines who go into hibernation soon after marriage,
her career started booming after her marriage. And she
does mind revealing her marital status. When asked the
reason behind this, she stated that acting is just like
any other profession, and being married is not critical
as long as we are dedicated and sincere. A true professional!
She might just inspire some comebacks in the near future.
