A film on the heels of Virumandi
By Behindwoods News Bureau.
April 14, 2007
18 vayasu puyale is an upcoming film whose director Vijay M claims that the screen play of his movie is set in a novel and different fashion. When probed, the director says that the hero of the film Ajay Pradeep meets the heroine Preethi Verma, falls in love with her who also reciprocates his feelings.
Preethi
There is absolutely no opposition to this love and the couple waltz around trees for a while and their love succeeds. Everything seems to be a smooth ride but for fact that all these are said to occur in the hero's dream world which forms the first half of the film.

But the second half is a head on with hardcore reality, the scenes of actions are the same as that in the hero's dreams but it is a tough ride for him in the real world. There are villains and obstacles in real life and the hero has to struggle a lot to reach his goal. This kind of screenplay may strike a note of similarity with Virumandi where the first half and the second half of the film were two different interpretations of the same incidents.

Well, all is well that ends well. The director is very excited about his new venture and states that the film will have all the commercial elements like kuthupaatu, comedy etc. Newcomer Leo has scored music for the film.
