Rajini's presence bedazzles Billa's inaugural function

Billa 2007's inaugural function took place at the AVM studios this morning. Amidst speculations on superstar gracing the function, he arrived in time to wish the unit. It certainly was a pleasant surprise for the entire team whose spirits soared higher after his visit.

Abiding by Rajinikanth's wish, the inaugural function of this high budgeted movie was a simple and solemn affair with the customary pooja. The script was handed over to director Vishnuvardhan by Rajinikanth and hero Ajith. Superstar Rajini's presence was certainly a booster for the Billa team.

Some of the luminaries who attended the function are Ajith, his wife Shalini and Prabhu who will be doing a supportive role in the film. Sripriya who was the heroine of the original film was also present. Directors Saran and Dharani, editor Mohan and his son Jeyam Raja were also spotted at the pooja.
