When story of Koodal Nagar was narrated to Bhavna, it appeared that her role was meatier than Sandhya and the lady gladly signed on the dotted line. The shooting and the subsequent release of promos also reiterated her importance in the film.

But when Bhavna saw the film, she was in for a surprise as her role in the film appeared to have scaled back to accommodate more of Sandhya. The lady is obviously upset and has decided not to sign any films with a double heroine subject.
Meanwhile her dates seem to land her in a fresh set of problem concerning Naan Kadavul. It is a known fact that Naan Kadavul is slowly springing back to action now after many hurdles. But non availability of Bhavna's call sheet may result in her getting replaced in the film. Currently she is busy in Tamil and Malayalam films and offers from Tollywood are also on the rise for this pretty lady. Hence it has been reported that she is not able to adjust her dates for Naan Kadavul right now. In the meantime, speculations are rife in the industry that Meera Jasmine or Anjalika may replace Bhavna in Naan Kadavul if she finds it difficult to give her dates for the film. According to reliable sources, Bhavna is very keen to complete Naan Kadavul as she feels that the film will certainly be a milestone in her career and will go to any length to adjust her dates for the film.
