The success of remixes and remakes has resulted
in Tamil film makers attempting such numbers
in their current films. This seems to be in
vogue which is working feverishly in Kollywood
now. Towing the line with the existing fad,
Polladavan, the upcoming Dhanush movie with
the music of the young and talented G.V.Prakash,

is purported to remix the old blockbuster 'engeyum eppodum'
from Ninaithale Inikkum. This film directed by K Balachander
was a trailblazer during those times when Kamal and Rajni
hypnotized their fans with their dances and dialogues.
Dhanush, who has an experience in remix with his father-in-law Rajnikanth's ennamma kannu in Thiruvilayadal Aarambam', will try out engeyum eppodum in Polladavan. This song will be rendered by veteran singer S P Balasubramanian who had sung in the original number too. He will be accompanied by Malaysian pop star Yohi. The lyrics will be changed to suit the present trend and Karunas and Santhanam are said to waltz with Dhanush for this track.
On the other hand, Dhanush will be seen in Puzhudi, his next venture after Polladavan directed by Vasantha Balan of Veyil fame. This film will be produced by Oscar films Ravichandran.
