every day. In Avvai Shanmugi where Kamal had donned a lady's role, his make-over concentrated much on his upper body but in the current scenario, in one of the ten avatars, his entire body from head to toe is undergoing metamorphosis. The application of make up as such takes a good load of time but stays on for a very short duration of forty five minutes only. The blistering heat is playing the villain to Kamal's make-up and is said to melt it quickly resulting in 'Pack up' being declared by the director.
While talking about Dasavatharam, Kamal says, "The
films which are currently in the making like Sivaji and
Dasavatharam are sure to pioneer an emerging trend with
the present generation and will be a role model for the
existing genre of actors. Like how I look upon Sivaji's
Navarathiri, these films will be exemplars for the next
breed of actors. The onslaught of even fifty Ajith and
fifty Vijay films would not be adequate to erase the impact
of Sivaji and Dasavatharam. These films would withstand
the ambush of numerous action and love flicks and etch
itself permanently in the history of film world."
Around 45 crores have been spent so far in this project which is expected to be an Independence Day bonanza for Kamal fans.
