Namitha the buxom siren has totally transformed
into a svelte beauty. When reasons were probed
it was discovered that she has signed on the
dotted line for 'Malligai malare', a film
to be directed by K Rajeshwar which required
her to shed a few kilos. According to this
beauty, for the first time in her film career
she will be donning five different get ups
for this film.

Well, if it was ten for Kamal, then it's five for Namitha.
She is visibly excited about her role in Malligai malare.
She says, "When I was yearning for a role that would
bring out the acting potential in me, director Rajeshwar
approached me with this offer which is sure to quench
my thirst for performance. Malligai malare is one of the
few films which are woman centric. I come across as someone
who would question the social inequalities and fight against
the same which is very similar to my character in real
life".
The film is said to begin with a seventeen year old Namitha
in her final year of schooling and slowly tracing her
life till the age of forty. The story is divided into
five different phases of her life. She also adds that
she is planning to dub for herself in the film as Rajeshwar
proposes to send the film for awards. She has hired a
Tamil tutor and is currently taking language lessons.
Shooting for the film begins in May.
When quizzed about her other assignments, Namitha reported
that at present she is busy in Azagiya thamizh magan with
Vijay, Billa with Ajith and Kettavan with Simbu.
