US Malayalee association honours "Actress Gopika"

The US Malayalee Association has honored Actress Gopika with the Padmini Ramachandran award for the "Best Women Film Personality". Kudos to Gopika! The association has announced this award in honor of the Late Padmini Ramachandran who was a long time member of the association.

Gopika, the young beauty from Kerala, is one of the successful heroines in the South Indian Film Industry. She has many Malayalam and Tamil hits to her credit and has also acted in Kannada and Telugu films. The year 2006 has been the most rewarding for Gopika and helped her consolidate her position in Tamil cinema with a neat performance in 'Kana Kandein' opposite Srikanth .

The charming girl has her career moving at a steady pace in all the South Indian languages. The key to her success lies in her adept balancing of her career in multiple languages. Right now she is working on a slew of films with many popular stars in Malayalam and Tamil.

The Padmini Ramachandran award is sure to motivate this talented lady and we wish her more accolades this year and in the coming years.
