Nepali is an upcoming film which features Bharath as the hero. In the beginning, Jeeva was the one who was said to don the hero's role in this film. He had in fact been to Mumbai to try out variations in make-up and completed photo shoot also. Later due to discordancy in

remuneration he withdrew from the project. When the director of the film V.Z Durai was questioned on this, he was not forthcoming in his reply. Meanwhile Bharath was approached by the production team and he has given his consent for the film.
While talking about this issue, sources close to Bharath revealed that it is certainly a worthwhile exercise for the actor to try out different roles instead of the typical ones at this point of his career. They also averred that such roles facilitate in bringing the acting histrionics of Bharath to the fore. Now the film crew is busy scouting for the heroine of Nepali. Initially it has been reported that Mumbai model Andrea was being considered for the role but later she did not seem to appear in the fray at all. Though the production team maintained that Andrea did not qualify in the photo shoot but the actress said that she was not satisfied with her compensation package. Now Meera Jasmine is being considered for the role and she is also is said to be ready for the photo shoot.
