Dancing around trees with snow-capped mountains
as the backdrop may look idyllic. But not when
you have gunshots in the background for ‘music’.
Of late, shooting in Kashmir has been severely
restricted in war-ridden Kashmir. The Switzerland
of India that once used to be the delight of
India film producers is no longer a safe bet.
In a bold move, Major Ravi has decided to shoot
some of the scenes and a song sequence for his
bi-lingual ‘Aran’ in Kashmir. Gopika,
Mohanlal and Jeeva play the main roles. A group
of commandos have been posted in Kashmir to
offer security to the film crew.
