'The ubiquitous auto-drivers are a special lot
you love to hate. But you just can’t ignore
them. And nobody in Anna Nagar could have ignored
this ‘celebrity’ auto driver either.
Actor Arya was seen riding the auto on the main
streets and the by lanes in Anna Nagar for a
couple of weeks. The ‘practice’
session was for ‘Auto’, in which
he plays the role of an auto driver. The film
is about the pleasures and travails in the life
of auto drivers. It is said Arya went all out
to get under the skin of the character. He has
reportedly spent a lot of time with the auto
drivers, trying to pick up their lingo. Pooja
plays the role of a roadside biriyani vendor.
