Mohanlal, the Malayalam evergreen hero, an actor who can play in role with a rare finesse, is combining with young hero Jeeva in the Tamil and Malayalam bi-lingual Aran. How come a senior artiste like Mohanlal accepted to be paired with budding artiste Jeeva? Maybe, the story is good, maybe, the role he is playing is substantial or maybe the paycheck is good. Mamta Das, the girl who gave an excellent performance in the Malayalam flick Lanka, is pairing with Mohanlal while Gopika, another Malayalam girl, pairs with Jeeva. And there is Reema Sen too, and the support cast includes Delhi Ganesh, Ramesh Kanna, Biju Menon, Hanifaa, Ganja Karupa and Swetha Menon. The shooting is scheduled to take place in Kargil, Ladakh and Kashmir in the North and in Hyderabad, Pollachi and Ooty in the South.
