Manorama happy over Imsai Arasan!! |

Aachi is delighted to be a part of a 'historic'
film, after a long gap. Speaking to media persons
recently, the grande dame of comedy, Manorama
said she was glad she was offered an opportunity
to act in 'Imsai Arasan Irupatthu Moondram Pulikesi',
a no-holds barred comedy film, in which Vadivel
plays a dual role. At a time when one line dialogues
and slick movie sets seem to be the new genre
in films, a historic film where the actors spout
one-page dialogues in chaste Tamil is quite
an ambitious venture. However, Manorama hopes
that, having acted in such films in the past
will stand her in good stead. She also had a
word of praise for the new age artistes who
had to cram lengthy dialogues.

She
was nostalgic about her movies from the past and
said a lot of handwork went into the sets in earlier
times. But now, with the advent hi-tech equipment,
erecting larger-than-life movie sets, though still
an arduous task, has become a lot easier. She
said “Imsaiarasan....' will be a great family
entertainer. With an interesting mix of star cast
and humourous dialogues, looks like this film
is guaranteed to evoke a belly full of laughter. |
