We had earlier informed about ex-actor Arvindsamy’s
marriage on the rocks. In a lighter vein, the
actor was once referred to as the blue-eyed
boy of Manirathnam, after he was cast in a string
of hits like ‘Roja’, ‘Bombay’,
and ‘Thalapathi’. The actor was
married in 1994 to Gayathri, a lecturer with
Stella Maris. Of late, things have turned awry
and it is said that both are living separately.
Gayathri filed a divorce petition with the family
court at Chennai and also sought custody of
their kids Adhira and Rudhra. When the couple
came for another hearing at the court recently,
lawyers representing both sides, tried to strike
a compromise between the estranged couple. However,
their attempt made no headway and the two went
their separate ways.
