They say copying does not work always. Classic
case is that of young director Vishnuvardhan.
His recent smashing hit, Pattiyal, is adapted
from City of the Gods. His next film would be
under Charan’s Gemini Productions.
For this film, Vishnu had already made up his
mind to adapt from another Hollywood film, Cellular.
Unfortunately for him the plan could backfire.
Cellular would be releasing shortly dubbed in
Tamil. Therefore, he is not sure whether to
proceed with the same story or not.He is said
to be busy immersing himself in latest action
flicks from abroad, trying to capture some new
plot.
