In 1974, director K Balachander came up with one of his masterpieces, Aval Oru Thodarkadhai, starring Kamal Haasan and Sujatha in the lead. Two years later the blockbuster was made in Telugu as Anthuleni Katha with Kamal and Rajini in the lead. That film too went on to become a blockbuster.
Now, considering that the classics are being re-released, Symphony Movies have planned to dub the film in Tamil and release it. The makers are confident of the success as the film has both Kamal and Rajini.
