Erstwhile President of the Tamil Film Producers Council, Rama Narayanan has denied the allegations that he was involved in a scam to the tune of 1.80 crores. He blamed vested interests for the situation he currently finds himself in, especially political ones. He is a member of the DMK and resigned shortly after the thumping win registered by the AIADMK party.
Rama Narayanan lodged a reply petition in answer to the charge filed against him and handed it over to the Chennai Police Commissioner yesterday. He has persistently denied all allegations and says that it is a cheap attempt to tarnish his image.
