Kalaivanar NS Krishnan’s 54th Anniversary was celebrated recently by the members of the Tamil Nadu Iyal-Isai-Nadaka Manram and South Indian Actors Association members. The members, headed by the Manram’s President Deva and Secretary Sachu garlanded NSK’ statues situated in Vani Mahal and near the Kotturpuram Railway Station.
Special programs were also held at the Bharthiya Vidya Bhavan Art Centre to commemorate NSK’s anniversary.
The Minister for Hindu Religious Affairs, MSP Shanmuganathan graced the occasion and spoke about Kalaivanar NSK during this event. Vice-President and Government Tourism Development General Secretary VK Jayakodi gave a special speech about Kalaivanar. Veteran actor Kaka Radhakrishnan, and Kavignar Subbu Arumugam spoke about NSK giving interesting incidents about Kalaivanar and entertained the crowd.
