Prabhu Solomon, director of the upcoming Kumki, in a recent interview has opened up about how each location tested the patience of the team. The song ‘Ayyayyo Anandhame’ was shot at Jog Falls which is at its best only in August and the team had to wait for eight months to shoot the song there.
Even when the producers asked Prabhu Solomon whether it’s mandatory to shoot the song there, he said that the depth of the romance could only be described in such locations.
Similarly the opening scene of the film is said to have shot at newly sowed farms. Later for the climax, the team had to wait for six more months for the crops to ripe and be ready for harvest. “So, the locations are the heroes in Kumki and we took time to make this a quality and visually impeccable film,” summed up the Mynaa director.
