The SRM University has decided to honor the National Award winning Aadukalam team. The team comprising Best Director - Vetri Maaran, Best Actor - Dhanush, Best Screenplay - Vetri Maaran, Best Editing - Kishore Te., Best Choreography - Dinesh Kumar and Special Jury – Jayabalan will be honored at this special event.
Aadukalam went on to become a hit and bagged six national awards this year. The film marked the debut of Taapsee in Kollywood and had music by GV Prakash. Dhanush’s performance replete with the Madurai dialect earned him the coveted National Award this year.
Apart from the awards and honors, Aadukalam has also been selected for screening at various prestigious national and international film festivals.
