Vasundhara Das was recognized as a rare breed of heroines who could also sing professionally. She first debuted under Kamal Haasan’s Hey Ram and then later starred opposite Ajith in Citizen.
Her singing career boasts of quite a few hits such as ‘Shakalaka baby’ from Mudhalvan but of late the singer-actor has been missing in action. Currently located in Bangalore she was in the news for unfortunate reasons when her handbag was reportedly stolen and her credit cards were misused.
But now Vasundhara has reasons to smile as she’s set to return to the recording studio for the film Nadhigal Nanaivadhillai. The film has music by Soundaryan and the project has been written and directed by P.C. Anbazhagan.
