Suriya recently arranged for a press meet and thanked the media for the part they played in the success of 7aum Arivu. He said that the film is the biggest hit in his career having surpassed the collections of even Singam. Despite a lukewarm response from the critics the producers and distributers are happy with the collections.
The actor thanked the media for their support and their constructive criticism which has helped him improve his performance. He said that when he entered the field he did not expect that his films will do this well and is very pleased with the way his work has been received.
