Srikanth and Janani Iyer, the Avan Ivan heroine will be doing a film called Paagan to be directed by Mohammad Aslam. Kovai Sarala, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu Suri and Angadi Theru Pandi also have roles in this romantic comedy. According to the director the film will make you laugh as there is some awesome comedy but there will also be sentiment and action.
About Paagan, Aslam said that it is about a young man who is funny and loveable and despite getting the opportunity to make big bucks abroad chooses to stay on in his beloved India and make it big in his homeland. Paagan will be produced by Vishwas U Lad and V Purushotham under VP Productions. James Vasantham is doing the music, editing is by Kevin, and stunts by Supreme Sunder. Lyrics will be penned by Yugabharathi, Suriya and Viruchika. The unit is shuttling back and forth between Mumbai and Pollachi for the filming.
