G V Prakash is happy that the songs in Saguni has given him some much required relief. He said, "It's a welcome break for me to work for a commercial movie rather than my regular off beat movie experience. Saguni has all types of songs in it, ranging from kuthu to romance to melody." According to Prakash a new lyricist, who’s an ardent Suriya fan has been introduced in the film. "Karthi has a very good box office potential in Telugu and I am sure Saguni will also be hugely successful in Telugu," he added.
On working with director Bala, Prakash said that he has been given enough time by the director. Usually Prakash finishes up his rerecording in a little more than a week but apparently Bala has given him ample time to work on the rerecording of his Paradesi.
