Actor Aadhi who delivered some great performances in films like Eeram and Aravaan is currently shooting for Maranthen Mannithen with Taapsee, Lakshmi Manchu - who is also producing this film, Sundeep Kishan, and Suja Varunee. Kumar Nagendra is the director. While shooting at Chinchinada village, along the banks of the river Godaveri, Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu were in a life threatening accident.
The shoot was happening at a fishing village set erected across 21 acres of land. 250 technicians were at hand and around 20 cameras were set up.Some time after midnight, the crew prepared to release water from the reservoir for a flood scene which is crucial to the movie. Six gates were opened and Aadhi and Lakshmi Manchu were swept away by the force of the water for nearly 400 feet before the local fishermen were able to rescue them. The two actors recovered after they were given medical attention.
