The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalitha called Latha Rajinikanth and enquired about Rajinikanth's health. The CM wanted to know the course of treatment being given to Rajini and asked Latha on how he is responding to the same. The CM had told Latha that she would pray for Rajini’s speedy recovery.
Congress leader Jayanthi Natrajan had also said that the Congress President Sonia Gandhi had enquired about the Superstar’s health and wished for his long and healthy life.
