Gemini film circuit has bought the overseas rights of the Suriya starrer, Maatraan. If the reports are to be believed the rights have been sold for a massive sum of Rs 12 crores. This is the biggest deal in recent times. The audio rights of the film have already been bought by Sony Music and they are looking to release the album on July 16th.
The film is expected to hit the screen on August 15th, the Independence Day. Thuppakki starring Vijay is also expected to release on the same day.
