There were reports that director Vasantha Balan has decided to put Aravaan on hold as the film’s producer could not arrange for the requisite finance to continue the film’s shooting.
When enquired about this, we were told that the shooting is progressing in the Thenkasi area in Tamil Nadu. Sources close to Vasantha Balan have said that there is no truth in reports that Aravaan has been put on hold.
The film, set in the eighteenth century and starring Aadhi and Pasupathy, is progressing well, sources say.
