Dhanush and Aishwarya are among the horrified parents who have taken up arms against what happened at the Visva - Bharati university where 10 year old Punita Mistri was made to drink her urine by hostel warden, Uma Poddar as a punishment for wetting her bed. The warden was arrested two days after this incident and to counter this, the university filed an FIR against the parents and they were also arrested and later released on unconditional bail.
The entire nation is disgusted with all that happened and Dhanush and Aishwarya have joined their voices on a microblogging site to those who are seeking justice for the traumatized child and her parents. As parents they felt that they should do their part to raise awareness.
