Samantha made headlines when she opted out of Shankar's film with Vikram and Mani Ratnam's Kadal. Apparently a skin condition required immediate attention and she could not do these films. Her luck seems to have turned however, as she will be making her Bollywood debut with a Prabhu Deva film.
Prabhu Deva is planning to remake his Telugu super hit, Nuvvustanante Nenodantana which was also remade in Tamil as Something Something with Jayam Ravi and Trisha. Shooting will begin later this year, and Samantha is hoping that her skin problem will be fixed by then.
