Answering this question, the director has said that he and Sonia Agarwal have been leading separate lives two years before their divorce and not many know about this; therefore, the remarriage seems to be too soon.
There is also a talk that Sonia Agarwal is quite disturbed by his impending marriage and to this he said that it was on Sonia’s advice and insistence he is now entering into wedlock. Selva says that Geetanjali is the best thing that has happened to him and he is happy for it as both of them share their love for cinema.
