RJ Dheena has been associated with some of the big names in the industry like Suryan FM and Big FM for nearly a decade. This experience has prompted the RJ to start the Academy of Radio Studies. Dheena says that the idea behind this academy is to groom the talents to turn into the nexgen-radio professionals. He adds that the radio stations are likely to increase at a fast rate over the next few years and to cope with the needs of these stations, an academy to bring out the best radio professionals is needed.
The academy will offer a four-month dipolma in radio programming to begin with, said Dheena.
