Director Thangar Bachan is planning to make a 35-minute documentary on the Thane Cyclone that ravaged the Cuddalore and Villupuram districts. The director has titled the documentary as Thane Puyalin Aruvadai. The documentary will be a bilingual with both the Tamil and English version releasing simultaneously.
Thangar Bachan said that the losses suffered by the agriculturists cannot be calculated in terms of money alone. The trees that have been lost in these floods were nurtured by several generations and it is indeed a great loss, said Thangar.
