Maattrraan was recently confirmed as an October 12 release. Earlier there were reports that Studio Green's Alex Pandian starring Suriya's brother Karthi would also be released on October 12.
Now this looks highly unlikely as crores of money is riding on both these movies and the brothers would not prefer to release their movies on the same day. Now the next question doing the rounds is the release date of Alex Pandian. With a recent song that was shot, the shoot of this Karthi - Anushka starrer is almost complete. A suitable release date would be arrived by the producers in the coming days.
