Malayalam superstars, Mammooty and Prithviraj are teaming up to do their third film together after One Way Ticket and Pokkiriraja. This film has been entitled Arival Chuttika Nakshatram and is to be directed by Amal Neerad. It is inspired from a true story and derives from the history of Communism in Kerala.
The interesting twist in the tale is that Prithviraj is to be the villain and he will go up against Mammooty. For his debut in Tamil, Kana Kanden, Prithviraj played the villain to Srikanth and he made a huge impact. But after that he became a proper hero and it is only now that he is doing a negative role again.
The film is to be produced by Santhosh Sivan, his Urumi director, Prithviraj himself, and Shaji Natesan.
