Cheran has said that he would soon direct a 3D film. The actor-director wondered why there is a dearth in making 3D films when technology has developed so much. Speaking about this during the audio launch of Ambuli, a 3D film that has Parthiban playing the lead role, Cheran said that he has the script ready for his 3D film and would be announcing the star cast soon.
He said that the audiences’ tastes have changed from what it was a couple of decades ago and the filmmaker urged his contemporaries to keep this in mind while making movies in order to rake profits at the box office.
