Santhosh Sivan, cinematographer par excellence has done the country proud by becoming the first Director Of Photography (DOP) to receive a coveted membership from the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). He is the first person from the Asia Pacific region to receive this honor. It is a towering achievement in this field and is the top accolade that can be conferred on a cinematographer.
