Actor Arjun’s dream project is nearing completion. He has been working on a temple for Lord Anjaneya in Gerugambakkam near Chennai. Today at about 8 am, the idol of Lord Anjaneya was installed at the place. The idol is that of Anjaneya in a sitting posture and is of 35 feet height and weighs 140 tons. An elated Arjun along with his wife Asha Rani and their two daughters were present on the auspicious occasion.
The idol has been carved out of a single stone and 100 artisans have been working on it at Koira in Karnataka. Arjun said that he is extremely happy that his dream is shaping up well. He added that the idol of Lord Anjaneya in dyana state is the first of its kind in the world. He plans to complete the work on the temple in a year’s time and more deities like that of Lord Rama will be installed soon.
