He
then meets Poorani at her home
and discuss his future course
of action and together meet
a human rights lawyer, Puneswari
(Revathy). She assists them.
In the course of this situation,
Poorani tends to fall in love
with Maran. Maran does not.
He keeps his relationship very
professionally. As with this
turnaround in the life of Poorani
she looks towards him for emotional
support. She has no income nor
does Maran. Once when Maran
comes to see her at her home
he meets Pournami. Pournami
gives him a ride to his cheri.
Maran likes her for her very
practical life. Pournami tells
him to get a job first. She
recommends him to join in an
automobile spare parts firm
as a salesman. In the next three
months he becomes a very successful
salesman and is promoted to
being sales manager looking
after the company’s activities
in Tambaram.
Maran regularly meets Pournami
and love blossoms. Pournami
tells him of setting up his
own spare parts company if they
were to get married and settle
down. He works very hard towards
and comes to see her at home
often. Poorani gets agitated.
Poorani wants him to pursue
the case of human rights. He
refuses to continue. She has
an altercation with him in the
midst of Puveneswari. He drops
the case on the advice of Pournami.
Poorani dislikes Pournami for
that. There are regular arguments
and altercations in the house
between both sisters, Chellamah
on Pournami’s side and
Nithyanandan on Poorani’s
side. Later at home Chellamah
and Nithyandan continue the
arguments to make the story
more hilarious. |
