in a floral designed spaghetti

with it. This function witnessed
a plethora of luminaries from
the tinsel town. From the directors’
clan, Dharani, Lingusamy, Charan,
Seeman and Bala graced the occasion.

Parthiban who is known for his
desire to stand out differently
in a crowd spoke on the occasion.
He was showering praises and
accolades on Palaniappan who
used to work as assistant director
for him. While commenting about
hero Vishal, he said, “This
boy has excelled in all the
fields like acting, stunt and
dance. I also heard that he
is planning to venture in direction.
If it happens, he would sure
give every director a tough
competition”. In his usual
style he described the heroine
as a tall beautiful painting. |

When
Bhagyaraj rose to speak on the
occasion, he was mentioning
about assistant directors. “When
I was an assistant director,
I practically used to wait at
the doorstep of directors. But
these days, things have changed
and one needs to be extremely
careful with them.”. He
was also recalling how he was
shocked to find his comedy bit
being enacted by Vadivelu in
a film. And when Vadivelu was
questioned, he said that he
simply followed the director’s
directions. That’s when
Bhagyaraj realized that assistant
directors were plagiarizing
his thoughts and ideas. |
