To
Rajini sir, with love… |

Converting
charisma on screen to votes
is not easy though. History
has shown several popular stars
who tried their hands in politics
have only burnt it. The great
Sivaji Ganesan, Amitabh Bachchan,
Dharmendra and several others.
However, we also know, MGR,
NT Rama Rao and Jayalalitha
have all had stellar careers
in politics as they did in films.
The biggest angst of the fans
of Rajinikanth is that they
don’t have a party or
a movement that can serve to
be the momentum-gathering vehicle.

|
They
complain that their power and
dedication can change the fate
of Tamil Nadu – whereas,
most opponents who know this,
make fun of them because of
a lack of official platform.
This fast in Tenkasi was to
request Rajinikanth to launch
one such platform and lead it.
In the current political scenario,
honesty, integrity and a clean
image is such a rare commodity.

People
do not have a role model to look upon.
Rajinikanth can definitely fill up
this space and can deliver an immaculate
government and help the society. But…
the biggest question is will he do
it? We will have to wait and see. |
