Dhanush–
Unwilling to claim favours in the shadow
of Rajini |

|
|
He
became an overnight star riding on
the success of two consecutive films.
Thulluvadho Ilamai and Kadhal Kondein
made Dhanush a hot selling star. His
rates soared and following Thiruda
Thirudi it meant that he could not
go wrong at all. People who ticked
him off as a one-film wonder or a
home banner tiger, grudgingly acknowledged
that he had good potential to be a
top actor. Yet, Pudukkottaiyilirundhu
Saravanan and Sullan were miserable
flops and many were gleeful to write
him off. |

|
The guy meanwhile got married to Aishwarya,
daughter of superstar Rajnikanth.
He maintained a dignified determination
and has been persevering to complete
two projects, Puduppettai and Thiruvilaiayadal.
Puduppettai would release soon and
its dubbed version, Dhoolpet would
be released in Telugu. |
|
|
|
|
Speaking on the occasion he said that
he had great hopes from Pudupettai
and hoped that it would mark his long
innings in Telugu as well. He praised
the Telugu audience for being faithful
to movies and giving right encouragement.
He felt that he was unconventional
in every aspect and would have become
a marine engineer if his father had
not persuaded him to take up acting.
|
|
|
He was also happy to be known as superstar’s
son-in-law although he felt that it
would be wrong to claim any favors
just because of that. He wanted to
establish his own identity and he
was sure things would turn his way
soon. He also disclosed the happy
news that his wife, Aishwarya was
in the family way and there would
soon be Junior around. Superstar is
happy. |

While
Dhanush concedes that he may not have
great physique or drop dead looks,
he was good at emoting and dancing
and he was sure these skills would
see him through. The guy is quite
excited about the release of Pudupettai
and Aishwarya’s pregnancy.
Good luck, mate!
