What happened to Meera Jasmine?
Look at Meera Jasmine today and you are reminded of what Mamta Kulkarni was once in Bollywood. Beautiful but erratic, talented but not successful.
Meera Jasmine
Meera Jasmine too, goes about her way in a similar fashion. She says one thing today and contradicts herself the next day. She announces that she would make a movie but then makes a different announcement the next day saying that she would only direct the movie.

She was supposed to work in movies like Naan Kadavul, Kizhakku Kadarkarai Saalai, and Ariya but then, she has let go of these movies. Ask her why she has done that, she says she wants to do different kind of movies. Is not Bala's Naan Kadavul a different kind of movie?
Why does she say one thing and do a different thing? "I believe myself. I want to be consistent with myself. I say what I mean and what I mean may change from time to time," says Meera Jasmine. Is changing your mind from time to time for no reason or rhyme is being consistent?

Whatever it is, Meera Jasmine has become unpredictable. She is not the person she was when her mentor Lokita Das introduced her to the Tamil cinema. What has happened to her?

Insiders say that she has a secret boyfriend and that her strings are being pulled this guy. She had earlier announced that she was in love with someone and that she would marry him one day and that when that day arrived, she would make the announcement herself. That day has not yet arrived and no one in the industry knows who this girl's beau is.

Is he a hero? A director? A producer? A businessman? The secret being kept so tightly makes our guessing go wilder and wilder!
